OpenMentor is formed in the year 2009 as a Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative of Softsmith Infotech Private Limited to cater to the online education and skilling of the student community in the country.

‍Open Mentor Trust is formally registered as a Public Charitable and Educational Trust under Indian Trust Act 1882 in the year 2014. The Registered office of the Trust is in Chennai. The trust has got 80G certificate for 50% exemption on the donations.

The main objective of the Trust is to promote and advance the cause of Education in the country by continuous skilling. Open Mentor Trust conducts online courses in industry relevant software skills besides providing recorded sessions and online exams for the students to practice and do self evaluation.

Contributions

Open Mentor Trust generally receives donations and contributions from people who love to promote education, skilling and from the student community who can benefit from our Training, Recorded Sessions, Online Exams etc.

The Contributions will be used for continuous imparting of training, preparation of recorded sessions, online exams, project work and for providing assistance to the needy students to undergo such training.

Specific Donations and contributions are invited for Special events. Facility to make Donations and Contributions is available through Online Banking Channels and UPIs
